Re-registration period for the 26-27 AY will be May 1 - May 15
All student organizations registered with the Yale College Dean’s Office must complete the re-registration process to remain active for the upcoming academic year. This essential step ensures your organization continues to receive support, access to resources, and recognition from the university.
Re-registration will consist of three (3) tasks:
- May 2026 - Submission of the Re-Registration Form in Yale Connect by the May 15 deadline.
- Includes verification of ten active members w/the majority being Yale College students.
- August 2026 - Completion of Student Organization Leadership Training (SOLT) by all group officers.
Groups who fail to complete these three (3) tasks will not be registered for the 26-27 academic year.
NOTE:
- All groups will be marked as “unregistered” in Yale Connect the day re-registration begins. Officers will not regain full access to their Yale Connect pages until their re-registration form is submitted.
- Updated or current constitutions are required, specifically for groups that require an application or audition process.
- Only groups who are fully approved will be eligible to apply for university funding.
Follow these simple steps to submit the re-registration form for your group:
- Log into Yale Connect and go to your group’s page.
- Click the blue registration button at the top of the page.
- Complete the re-registration form and submit.
The submitter will receive a confirmation email from Yale Connect. Save for your records. Once submitted, your group’s re-registration form will be reflected as “Pending Approval” as we work through submissions.
If you begin the re-registration form but do not submit it in the same session, your group’s status will change to “Pending Approval.” However, it will only be a draft until you officially submit – please make sure to hit submit!
The draft will be found in “My Surveys/Forms” (on the left toolbar) in the Yale Connect account of the student who began completing the form.
