During the 2025–2026 academic year, Yale hosted 48 major events led by 32 registered student organizations. Nineteen were held in the fall, with the remaining 29 taking place in the spring—showcasing the scale and energy of student-led programming across campus. These events ranged from international summits to annual performance showcases, and from weeklong conferences to weekend tournaments and competitions.
With so many large-scale events happening each year, clear coordination matters. While each event is imagined, planned, and led by students—with guidance and support from the Student Activities Office—the Major Events process helps organizers plan with confidence by reducing scheduling conflicts, strengthening logistics and communication, and supporting a smooth, successful experience for both organizers and attendees.
