Overview
YaleSOAR (Student Orgs Annual Raise) is a student-led giving week hosted by the Office of Development. Registered undergraduate student organizations may apply to create custom fundraising campaigns and raise donations alumni, friends, family, and other supporters.
Approved groups will identify fundraising priorities and learn how to create campaigns in GiveCampus, a social fundraising platform. For one week in December, these campaigns will be promoted to Yale alumni through the Yale Alumni Fund. Groups will also conduct additional promotion to targeted audiences. Advisors and staff from the Office of Development will guide student groups through the application, campaign-building, and promotion process.
Application Timeline
- Applications to participate in SOAR will open on Friday, August 28. All applications will be due no later than Wednesday, September 23.
- The SOAR giving week will be from Tuesday, December 1, to Tuesday, December 8.
